miss doherty came over to stay with my during spring break, the day after my family left. on top of the excitement of simply just having my bestie over with me, i also got to accompany her to view glasgow uni as she's been offered a place to study there in september! i have doing my best to not try to beg her to choose glasgow, as i know it would be out of purely selfish reasons. . . the thought of having her an hour away by bus, as opposed to an ocean away, is too much for me to contemplate without jumping up and down like a wee five year old. any hows, we got the bus through to glasgow for the day. we had the loveliest of outings indeed.
star-gazing at the hunterian , coffee and charity shopping on byre's road, ice cream at the botanic gardens and cider before we hot-footed it home where my boy had a lovely dinner and intellectual conversation awaiting us.
now all i need to do is hope that she will come . . .
