today i fed (from the third and top floor of my inner city tenement building flat)- one wood pigeon, two blackbirds (one male, one female), a magpie and three bluetits. as i hung out of the window listening to the spring morning stretch itself out on the grass outside i felt so happy that i could almost have cried.
also. i have been noticing more and more that the sky is not just blue in colour. it is made up of the most magical hues that i never thought existed before this year.

oh, I should read The Penelopiad again too!
I used to feed the most sad-looking cat when I was living in England and feeling rather alone. How do these little creatures know when to insert themselves into our lives?
I love your pretty blue dress :)
